Cooks / Dietary Aides
We are seeking Full Time Cooks and Dietary Aides to prepare and serve meals in accordance to menus. The cook’s primary responsibility is to ensure the highest quality of food. Must be able to prepare hot and cold food; work with the elderly and have the ability to prepare therapeutic diets with accuracy. Possess the ability to maintain a clean, safe work area and be able to complete all work assignments in a timely manner. General knowledge of quantity food preparation and dietary equipment a must. Culinary experience and Servsafe Certified is a plus. Willing to work a schedule of rotating shifts: mornings, evenings and weekends. Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year food service experience in a health care dietary setting is strongly preferred.
