Employment Overview and Benefits.
Full time employees are hired to work 37.5 hours per week in a regular schedule. After three months, they are eligible for seven paid holidays in addition to their paid birthday holiday. Full and part time employees are eligible for vacation time. Vacation is accrued weekly based on hours worked up to 37.5 hours per week and is calculated according to your anniversary date as follows:

Time is accrued through your first year, but cannot be taken until your anniversary date.
In your second year of employment, you receive two weeks of vacation each year.
In your 6th year of employment, you receive 3 weeks of vacation each year plus one additional day for year 6 through year 9.
In your 10th year of employment, and each year thereafter, you receive 4 weeks of vacation.
In your 20th year of employment, and for each year thereafter, you will receive 5 weeks of vacation.

Part time employees receive paid vacation time in proportion to the number of hours they actually work.

All employees are immediately entitled to direct deposit of their paycheck into multiple accounts of their choice. In addition, after three months of employment, all full time employees are eligible for participation in Health, Dental, Vision, Group Term Life insurance and a 403b pension plan. Health insurance requires a modest employee contribution.

Nurse Aide Training Class

This position is responsible to ensure the nutritional needs of the resident are met based on physician’s orders. Interacts with residents, families, visitors, facility and corporate staff.

May be required to work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, additional hours, and in

different positions as the facility’s needs require. Visits with resident and family on admission to complete a diet history and periodically to evaluate the excellence of meals served, likes and dislikes.

Reviews the nutritional requirements of each resident admitted to the facility.  Completes a nutritional assessment on admission and at least yearly or as necessary.

Graduate of an approved college dietitian program. Membership Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an RDN with the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred.

Nursing Positions

Food Service Director
Full-Time Food Service Director. The Food Service Director plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the department’s activities to meet resident’s dietary needs. The successful candidate must be credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager; a Certified Food Service Manager or have a Degree in Food Service.

Prep Cook
Full-Time Prep Cook to prepare and serve meals in accordance to menus. Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year food service experience in a health care dietary setting is strongly preferred. General knowledge of quantity food preparation and dietary equipment a must.
